Goodbye September! [recap]

September went by so fast!

Posts in September:

So 5 reviews and 10 posts overall for September. I have to get better about knocking reviews out!

Books Read in September:

  1. I read 3-8 of the Pink Carnation series. There was skimming involved with a few of them. I’m not going to review the rest. I liked some more than others.
  2. I also read 2-5 of the Percy Jackson series. I enjoyed them but I don’t plan on reviewing them. They were really quick reads!
  3. Juliet, Naked by Nick Hornby
  4. The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily M Danforth
  5. The Dream Thieves – by Maggie Stiefvater – Probably my favorite read of 2013 so far.
  6. Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson
  7. Rose Under Fire by  Elizabeth Wein
  8. I read some Cicero for a class. Blahhhhh
  9. I reread The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K Le Guin

Before blogging, I used to mark books as read on Goodreads as soon as I was finished and now I don’t ever do it that way. I need to at least write down what I read. Those are the books that will (hopefully) be reviewed, but not all of the Pink Carnation series or the Percy Jackson series.

Goodreads:
I’m not really sure what to do about Goodreads. I don’t like what they did, but the site is useful. I think it has the most information about books. I haven’t really decided yet, but for now I’m still going to link to them. I’m pretty lazy about posting reviews on Goodreads anyway, so I might just wait to make an actual decision. Maybe I’ll check out some of the other options, but I’m not sure.

I’ve been trying to catch up on commenting! I keep making some progress then getting overwhelmed, distracted, or lost in a book. If I’ve missed you lately, leave me a link! How was your September??
